Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Full or Part Time  Maintenance professional to oversee several locations in Avon, Westlake and North Ridgeville.  Depending on the project you may either work first or second shift.  This position has flexible hours that could accommodate working around another job. 

Summary:

The function of the Maintenance professional is to preserve and enhance buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment and to ensure that the physical environment is safe, free of any and all physical, chemical or environmental hazard, in good order, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an awareness of health and safety issues at all times and takes immediate action when any discrepancies are found in these areas.
  • Performs minor and/or major repairs and refurbishment to the physical plant, equipment, and grounds as assigned.
  • Performs routine and/or complex preventive maintenance to buildings, equipment, vehicles, and other household tasks as assigned.
  • Cooperatively accepts assignments and directions from owner & supervisor on needed repair, tools, and equipment. Asks appropriate questions.
  • Effectively completes the work as assigned or, if appropriate, refers the job to the team leader or supervisor. All work must comply with code requirements.
  • Knowledgeable in the safe and appropriate use of hand and power tools.
  • Complies with all policies regulating safety and safe work procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

High School Diploma, FBI/BCI Criminal Record Clearance and Valid OH Driver's License.

MLBC
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
